Hideaway Circus — a new American open-air touring circus founded in Brooklyn — will bring their new show, Canvas Sky, to the back field of our Cutchogue campus this August 9 - 11 for a four-show run! Enacted by a troupe of ten international performers, Canvas Sky blends the wonders of classical circus performance with a poignant, contemporary storyline about a circus clown coming to find self-acceptance with the help of his friends. PCS Maker Fair returns Saturday, April 13th — part science fair, part county fair, part something totally unique this is a special day in celebration of community, collaboration and innovation! Join us for our 5th Annual Maker Fair!

You are invited to tour our campus and classrooms and meet with PCS directors and facilitators to discuss our Peconic Community School approaches and practices.
Learning at PCS is place-based, inquiry-driven, learner-centered and community-minded. Working with trimester-long Integrated Units and often outdoors or in the field, students are encouraged to dive deep: they tackle complex topics, take risks and invest in their community.

We hope you can join us to commemorate this special moment in PCS history: a Ribbon Cutting and Open House at our new Cutchogue Campus, Saturday, January 6th beginning at 11am!
The Ribbon Cutting commences at 11:30 and will feature speakers including our Board Chair and Student Council President. Self-guided tours of the school will follow with light refreshments served in the Lower Level Community Room.

The evening was a beautiful and heartwarming celebration of Peconic Community School’s mission and vision, and an important stepping stone toward our bright future in our permanent home in Cutchogue. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $200,000 toward our Comprehensive Capital Campaign to benefit the Cutchogue campus!

Calling all future designers, artists, scientists, and Presidents: this week long camp explores the past, present, and future of our communities. In this camp, students will work with artists, archivists, activists, environmentalists, and urbanists to learn about the amazing career paths Long Islanders are utilizing to effect positive change. In collaboration with these individuals, students will brainstorm creative solutions to today's pressing challenges.
